Does anyone have a clue why my “Incoming Links” section on the WP Dashboard isn’t showing my incoming links? I do have them (well, one, but I’m not getting greedy), and they show in the incoming links bit of the “Blog Stats” section, and so on… but not on the main Dashboard. I noticed it worked fine on another site, so is this just a WordPress.com bug that I’m gonna have to get used to? The untidyness is really annoying me.
Completely Unrelated (but rather annoying)

That’s strange. Mine is working fine right now, but I don’t check it too often, so maybe it stops working from time to time…
Mine has just started working properly after two months. For some reason it was only showing two links, now it shows them all. Probably a bug.
Mine is working now, sometimes it picks up only one of the incoming links, sometimes it doesnt. Hmmm, I think I am going to read the FAQ’s about it
(and please delete my previous comment, I am sure no one needs to hear from me while in a drunken state- and yes i am paying for it, thins hang over is beautiful)
I have a bit of a buggy incoming links thing too. It seems to be a bit temperamental and isn’t working at the moment..
woooo mine is working today, and I have a whole five incoming links, i think this is so great I may have a break from my diet and start on packet of mc coy crisps
Wooo, mine is working too!
I think I might follow colouredmind’s lead and have some mango icecream in honour of the occasion 😀
come un chouette, gve us a new post. I hte to imaging the number of times i have chacked your blog today only to find this post witha strange tag that says “fish” why?

Well, potential topics I’ve mused over (and in some cases even started) included my gran being in hospital, suicide, and the fact that the supermarket trolleys at Asda don’t *actually* stop if taken over the red line, despite the notices proclaiming that they do. Mostly I’ve been sleeping and moping a lot, so I’ve not had a lot of inspiration for blog posts.
Fish… oh, now that’s just a bit of surrealism 😉
All of those sound interesting, there must be something you are desperate to tell us. Your still up in the small hours i see so there must be an obscure blog that you could take insparation from. I hve just looked at my previous comment I am sorry for my typing I must look like some kind of chav, its just that i have a sugar rush from eating a pint of unset jelly.
Ps. what does intercalculating mean, i saw it in your about me bit, and have absolutly no idea what it means
Intercalating means I’m taking time off university. People intercalate for all sorts of reasons – mine were mental health reasons, sadly.
Oh! intercalating, that is exactly what I’m doing… now I have a word for it.
Same reasons than you. So yeah, it’s pretty sad…
How do your classmates react to this? Do they understand?
The ones who matter understand, the rest have barely noticed (being shy and taciturn, I only ever made a couple of friends). They don’t “get” depression, but having seen the change in me, they’re being as supportive as they know how (not very, in most cases, but that’s not their fault).
Out of all my classmates, the one who’s been most understanding was a surprise entrant – a close friend of one of my friends whom I barely knew at that point, but whom I broke down in tears in front of at one point when it all came to a head. He lent me his phone so I could make an international phone call to our mutual friend who was in France, accompanied me to the doc’s later that week to make sure I didn’t talk myself out of going, and was generally amazing. I really don’t deserve to know people like that 😳
