YesAny other comments:
Currently recovering from depression. An occupational therapy assessment has been done and she is being encouraged to return back to work. Physically well.
Thanks for the support Ms Psych, that’ll look great when my ESA is reassessed next month.
I guess I’d better procure a copy of the “occupational therapy assessment” so I can highlight the section that said I wasn’t fit for work…

Oh dear lord… She finally speaks and it doesn’t represent the truth.
Is this the same Ms Psych who completely failed in terms of communication in your post a while back? If so then she fail even more! Is there any way to get your YP-Place worker/their manager to get in touch with her and use magic words like “formal complaint” again to make her fail less? Hope you get your OT report. From what you wrote earlier it sounds like it will be more realistic.

On the positive side, she has said you were unfit for work for the period that you needed her to, which should satisfy the DWP over that.
As far as the other comments, it says “recovering” not “recovered” and we’re all being “Encouraged back to work” – doesn’t give a time scale. But don’t forget that’s the whole “point” of the Work-related Activity Group (not sure which group you’re in), but even in the Support Group, which I’m in, there’s talk of “returning to work”…
Perhaps I’m hopelessly optimistic, but I think if you find your occupational health assessment and everything, then hopefully things should be ok.
Of course I’ve been incredibly lucky with benefits, so perhaps I am just unrealistic…
Take care,

I just want to echo Diff and be fairly positive. I think that document will be okay. It covers the period you need, which is the important thing. Also – it says “recurrent depressive disorder” and “recovering” so you may be recovering from one episode, but that doesn’t mean you are fixed and ready to go back to work. Recurrent – means it is possible you will relapse and thus it doesn’t mean you have to be well and ready to go back immediately and will never be entitled to benefits again.
Good luck with it anyway. xx
O man what a loada crap. You know how you feel better than anyone else. After years of floundering I finally got the word schizoaffective hanging round my neck which I am NOT pleased about. And my benefits are all messed up too which is something Im just not into dealing with right now.
